The honey bees

The Quran introduces to us people an incredible number of miracles that are related to modern science. As we read the Quran, we do not notice the importance of many facts that are presented in it. For example, the chapter (sura) about the bees (An-Nahl) initiates an amazing phenomenon that is related to biology. Although the sura talks about many interesting matters, God chose that name because of its importance. The bees are one of these miracles of God. We should look at them, learn from them and remember to say, Subhana Allah, God be Glorified. This is gift from Allah. It is the will of God to give us these beautiful creatures to serve us.

The sura “The Bees” (An-Nahl), is positioned 16th from the begging of the Quran. Biologist determined that 16 is the number of gender chromosomes in the male bee. Also, 32, which is proportional to 16 is the number of gender chromosomes in the female bee. If we count the number of verses in the same sura, we obtain 128; which is also proportional to 32 as well as to 16.

I discovered that, 32 which is the number of gender chromosomes in the female bee also represents the temperature in Celsius to their (Bees) central brood nest regardless of whether the outside temperature is 110 or -40 degrees. I also discovered that 16 (honey bee’s male chromosomes) symbolize their average travel speed in miles per hour.

Thos miracles are in our Holy Book which has never been changed or modified. The Quran gives to the Human an amazing quantity of miracles that related to daily facts of science. Still, Quran’s is reserving a huge quantity of fundamental phenomenon that are incredible and astonishing to the human.
